DISSEMINATING MOON in Gemini - 10/30/15: Moon~Coaching™ Step 6 of 8 for Libra Moonth, 2015
As MoonCoach™, I will act as your guide on this Lunar Journey, guiding you through each lunar phase during the Libra Moonth, prompting you to pull a Tarot or Oracle card, and journal on the related themes. Rememer there are 8 phases in each cycle, and you may wish to review my first post explaining each of the lunar phases as it relates to your goal setting & intentions. As I've posted before, each lunar phase portal allows us to work with its energy, amplified by the Zodiac sign in which the Moon finds herself, and attuned to YOU via your astrological chart.
Today we continue with the DISSEMINATING Moon phase, pulling a Tarot card to give us InSight into the necessary actions for Step 6 in the current moonth. I will pull a card for the Collective Consciousness reading this blog (which includes YOU). For the DISSEMINATING phase in GEMINI, I am choosing to work with the Smith-Waite commemorative edition Tarot.

Moon Phase & its meaning for this Moon~Coaching™ Creation Step:
Disseminating Moon - We are now in the waning part of the lunar cycle, so as the light decreases, we are pulled inwards to have a greater sense of what we accomplished in the previous 5 phases, from New Moon intention setting through Full Moon manifestation. At this time, consider the accomplishments and results of the 1st half of your Lunar Journey, what you learned, what you did that worked, what may not have worked, and in the spirit of the Harvest aspect of this phase/step, share your results and insights with your Allies. You may wish to ask for feedback from them, as well, so that in future cycles, you'll have the necessary info to tweak your process to be an even greater success.

This is traditionally known as the 'wish card' in Tarot, so it can symbolize the realization of our 'new moon wish' or perhaps it is alerting us to consider why we wished for whatever we intended 2.5 weeks ago at the new phase. We see here a man who is smiling, content, happy with himself and his blessings. The table is set behind him with 9 cups, neatly arranged. What are they filled with? If this was a picture of YOU, what would your cups be filled with? What would cause you to feel 'filled' and satieted? At this disseminating phase, where we share our harvest with others, we can consider that we have many BLESSINGS to share with all our relations. I am seeing this as confirmation that every single one of the RELATIONSHIPS that we have been working on for the past 2.5 weeks (as part of the Libra Moonth focus), has a GIFT for us! If you are like me, you have had some pretty powerful moments in this lunar cycle thus far, and noticed what was out of balance in your closest relationships. I certainly did with my hubby! And hopefully, you've done the necessary work - the healing work, the clearing work, the balancing work - and may now feel 'filled' with a sense of emotional clarity as we see depicted here. Is the work complete? Not necessarilly, as we can see, there is still a 'mystery' that remains to be acknowledged...noting the table is quite large and covered up, so I daresay there is something that still needs to be revealed to us, regarding what WE REALLY TRULY WISH FOR IN OUR RELATIONSHIPS, or in terms of what we want in our lives in order to feel BALANCED (recall the Justice card for the Libra moonth!). So, I think for NOW, at this phase, we really do need to COUNT OUR BLESSINGS, and just be in the vibration of APPRECIATION. Perhaps since this one has to do with sharing our harvest with Allies, consider which 'cup' you are willing to offer those you relate to, or those relationships that came under scrutiny this moonth. It may not even be a person! Perhaps some of you may have worked on your relationship with money, or with food, or with habits, or God/Dess...whatever it was for you, it's time now to sit back, and just take it all in, being grateful for what you've accomplished and what you've learned about YOURSELF.
Taking the Gemini energy into consideration with the above, we can see that this is the element of AIR combined with the element of WATER (cups = water/emotions). And combined with the disseminating phase, which is about SHARING, we get a greater sense that during these few days we can share our ideas with others about what we need to feel happy. Let's say you have been working on yourself, creating balance and harmony in your most important relationship(s): Now would be the time to bring up in a loving manner (cups) what you need to feel good and happy, to that person(s). If you'll recall at the Crescent phase, we pulled the 7 of Swords, which asked us to keep your Intention and plans of creating relationship healing/balancing to yourself...in retrospect, it was necessary for us to do our 'inner work' gaining clarity about our own needs and actions in those relationships. But now with this phase and card and sign, we are impelled to speak up and discuss with those particular people, what we learned about our WISHES and EMOTIONAL NEEDS. A creative and heart-centered dialogue would be perfect, when done from this more BALANCED and WHOLE perspective that we have each hopefully accomplished in these past 2.5 weeks.
So, what would you like to share with your partner(s) about your relationship wishes?
Now let's take a look at the description of this card, directly from the deck’s book:
“A goodly personage has feasted to his heart's content, and abundant refreshment of wine is on the arched counter behind him, seeming to indicate that the future is also assured. The picture offers the material side only, but there are other aspects. DIVINATORY MEANINGS: Concord, contentment, physical bien-etre; also victory, success, advantage; satisfaction for the Querent or person for whome the consultation is made. ”
So, to recap, at time this 6th phase during the Libra Lunar Moonth, celebrate your success with your Allies, and COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! Note the positive and good and beautiful aspects of the people you are in relationship with (Beloveds, children, parents, family, business partners, clients, etc). Focus on the GIFTS that each of these people has brought to you in the past 2.5 weeks, and send blessings back in gratitude. Additionally, this is traditionally the 'wish card' in the Tarot, so this is telling us to look at the ways in which our original 'new moon wish' has manifested. Maybe it's taken on a different form than you originally envisioned or expected, so again, consider the Blessing & the Gift, and express Gratitude in some way that brings you great emotional satisfaction.
Bring back to mind the 6 cards we have so far for this Libra Moonth, and combine the meaning of the cards, phases and signs:
At the new phase being step 1 (of the 8) in Libra, Justice showed up to remind us to consider what is out of balance in our lives, as well as setting intentions that create Beauty and Harmony in our lives, and heal our Relationships. This all echoes the meaning of Libra since this 7th sign like Justice, is about clarity of thought in accomplishing balance, grace, and fairness with all our Relations.
At the crescent phase being step 2 in Sagittarius, we got pen and paper and plot out our 'how-to' and 'to-do' listing our ideas and potential action steps to accomplish the New Moon Intention. The 7 of swords told us to be mindful and careful with this list, as well as sharing with our most trusted Allies what we are planning, in order to maintain our Seed Intention within the safety of our delicate cocoon of energetic nurturance. And Sagittarius reminded us to consider rewriting the script of or belief system if these are not in support of our goals/intention.
At the 1st quarter phase, step 3 in Capricorn, we assessed how far we've come, what judgements we hold in our hearts, either to ourselves, or for others. We called in our Ancestors and Allies for strength and will power to face these judgements, and the fears we may have harboured about loss. And we took ACTION towards forgiving ourselves, others, and from this renewed sense of Self, we stepped forward through the gate, leaving strong roots of self-acceptance at this crossroads.
At the gibbous phase, step 4 in Pisces, we took stock of where we found ourselves on our journey thus far, noting what needed further balancing and re-adjusting for soul-ful healing. The Angel of Healing in Temperance tempered us, asking us to change where we still needed changes in our beliefs and attitudes, so that we were made more Whole, flowing with Divine Grace.
At the full phase, step 5 in Taurus, we saw revealed before us the results of all our previous efforts, the manifestation of greater Harmony in our lives. Through this portal, comes a joyous understanding of what Relationship means to us personally, and hopefully the opportunity to live in a vibration of higher Love, Agape, as we look into the eyes of each Individual that we relate to, including ourselves. With Taurus + the Princess of Pentacles, we may celebrate this discovery with all our physical senses, reveling sensually in all that feels good and right to us.
At the disseminating phase, step 6 in Gemini, we now share the results with our allies (perfect for Gemini), and in particular notice the blessings we have received in relationships, as shown by the 9 of Cups. We can ask ourselves, what fills us, what brings us emotional satisfaction and how can we offer others the cup of our own love and appreciation?
ADDENDUM: One final piece to consider for those of you that wish to go even deeper, is the Sabian Symbol for the exact astrological degree of this disseminating phase: "Three Fledglings In A Nest High In A Tree." Little baby birds may signify that we have 3 important gifts or blessings that we can count on, and which may need further nurturing and developing. What does this symbol mean to YOU?
