LAST QUARTER Moon in Taurus 7/26/16: Re-Orientation Phase of CANCER New Moonth
Let's start by recalling the key themes for this lunar moonth: The focus being on the astrological sign Capricorn, related to the Archetypal Father for the Full Moon;
and Cancer, related to the Great Mother, for the New Moon:
CAPRICORN: The Archetypal Father, in which sign we experienced the Full phase of this lunar cycle. So it is important to include it in our new moon intentional work and subsequent actions towards it's manifestation. It is the point of illumination which we will understand as the culmination of our working with the Cancer Great Mother energy from new to full. Capricorn key themes are: Career, legacy, the fruits of our labours, social standing and professional recognition, patriarchy, all things related to the Father/Paternal figure, Ancestors (especially the Masculine), manifestation, realization, our Vocation, Aspiration to reach the top, structure, organization, pinnacle of success, higher initiate, wisdom, age & ageing, Elders, Tribal Council.
CANCER: The Great Mother, Sign of the current Lunar Moonth that began with the Cancer New Moon, and in which sign the Sun was situated at the time of the Full Moon. Family, nurturing, emotional safety, the Home, the Ancestors and all things related to our Inheritance from them, including DNA and Karma; as well as all that is Maternal, and of course the Womb and Breasts as the sources of of Life and Nourishment; including the healing of the Inner Child; and with the Moon being 'ruler' of this sign, we also add the quintessential archetype of THE Divine Feminine into this powerful Cauldron from which can all draw spiritual sustenance and psychic healing.
LAST QUARTER PHASE: This is the re-orientation phase of the cycle, asking us to 'tie up loose ends' so that we can move towards closure. We take stock of the accomplishments and of potential improvements, forgive ourselves for what we didn't achieve as we would have liked, and turn to face the innermost part of ourselves in Honesty and with Dignity, so that we can end this lunar moonth in the days to come, and then surrender to Spirit at the coming Balsamic phase. Key words: Forgiveness, release, closure.
TAURUS: Consider the key words for Taurus in which sign the last quarter phase occurs - Practicality, Down-to-Earth, steadfastness, security, patience, matter, values, appreciation, beauty, sensuality, 5 physical senses, architecture, building, foundation, slow & steady progress.
So the Last Quarter phase in Taururs is: asking us to be very practical as we begin to close down our activities for this lunar moonth. Release 3D 'stuff' from our lives, that we don't wish to carry forward. Forgive ourselves for any perceived lack; make steady progress towards closure; tie up any loose ends of a financial kind, or perhaps be patient with yourself if you are struggling to let go of whatever you've been working on this moonth...but please do let it go.
You may recall, if you've been reading my posts at each phase during this lunar cycle, that I combined the general monthly theme, with the fact that I've been facing some Womb Space issues in my body, and looking at my natal chart, the New & Full Moons activated my 7th house + 8th/2nd house axis, and invited my natal Jupiter in Cancer into co-creation this lunar moonth. For this lunar moonth, therefore, my personal intention is/was to more deeply reconnect with the healing of my Womb Space, by calling in the Divine Feminine Essence being the Great Mother. You will want to call to mind now the particular Intention that you've been working with this cycle, and if you know your chart, include that information as you read along.

Card 7
Last Quarter Phase
The High Priestess (from the Tarot of Delphi) calls me out - tells me I've got to turn my attention INWARDS, and feel into what needs to be released. I sense that some fears and illogical emotions have been keeping me trapped behind energetic walls - the WombSpace healing has much to do with the walls of the Uterus, so I've done further releasing in these days, MeMories that have been stuck like ancient attachments to the walls of my Womb, lining up old hurts and karmic debris from my mother and grandmother, my sisters and my unborn daughter. I released them. I freed my Life Force Energy of these attachments, so that I could go on living my Life, unburdened, and dedicate myself to my Sacred Work as High Priestess.
Furthermore, with the Last Quarter being in Taurus, my North Node in this earthy sign was invited into co-creation by the High Priestess...reminding me that in order to accomplish my Life Purpose, and to continue growing and expanding in Consciousness, especially in relation to manifesting Sacred Beauty and adding Value to the Planet, I HAVE to LET GO. Taurus sometimes holds on to things for dear life, not relinquishing, stubborn and stuck...so it takes real commitment at this point, and paying very close attention to the signs and indicators shown here, that the Time has come to seriously LET GO, RELEASE, with deep and sincere GRATITUDE and APPRECIATION all that the Women in my Lineage have experienced, however ugly and painful it may have been...and NOW move into a new Space of BE~ing, allowing myself to grow in a new way, move into a new direction, free of these old entanglements, so that I can accomplish what I came here to do-be-do. And this requires that I tap in to the Silence, to listen patiently to the Whisperings of the Soul, to pay attention to my Inner High Priestess, so that I can intuit the next steps, the new direction and follow that Guidance...and above all, FORGIVE those that hurt, limited, condemned, and in any way diminished the Radiance of the Women in my Family. In fact, this is what I did, as the Moon reached her Last Quarter phase, floating in the warm water of my tub, I meditated, dived deeply into Soul, and the cries of my Mother and Grandmother echoed in my Womb and Heart. I grieved the losses they felt - the dead children, and the fear of Living Life because of old patriarchal paradigms that condemned them, and then forgave the men and the social-political-religious systems that entrapped them and denied their right to be Happy and Healthy Women and Mothers - and I grieved the loss of my own unborn daughter, and forgave myself for the fear that kept me from birthing her.
Now, here's a snippet from the book on this card: "...the Pythia sits between light and shadow.the darkness represents all potential and the light knowledge. In meditation and silent darkness, new ideas, latent comprehension, realization, and solutions gestate until midwifed into the light of consciousness. Wisdom. Spiritual counsel. Profundity. Revelations. Trance. Enigma. Esoteric knowledge. Mysteries."

Reviewing my Last Quarter Card, along side the Last Quarter step questions from my Moon~Coaching™ Lunar Journey Meditation Cards, I answer the prompts:
The bleeding has stopped, and now my body is moving towards greater healing and balance, yet I feel a dead weight in my abdominal area...as if it's shifted from Womb to Intenstines...the releasing process is very real. Yet, I am also feeling guilty and like I failed myself because I 'cheated' on my nutritional plan...so again, I forgive myself and my apparent failure. I get back on track with my herbs and no red meat, and no milk, so that I can reorient again towards healing.
To answer the question on my meditation card:
What do you need to do to feel complete with this particular Lunar Journey?
I've set up a time to do my session with Queen Neith (Alisha Kier) for Saturday, which will actually be the Balsamic phase of this lunar moonth. I feel I need to complete that session in order to truly come to closure, and be fully 'empty' of all the old stuff that caused this painful moonth. And I need to release my attachment to figuring it all out - so that I can relax from all the work I've been doing, and be ready to just surrender fully into The Great Mother's arms during the weekend's Balsamic phase....I am ready to move to closure, as I'm feeling completely exhausted.

For additional depth to my Moon~Coaching Lunar Journey, I overlay the New & Full charts onto my own Astrological Chart:
I see that the LAST QUARTER phase, along with the High Priestess card, activates my natal 5th/6th houses, and my North Node in Taurus.
As I mentioned above, I need to release my attachments to these old karmic hurts in order to move into greater expression of my Life Purpose, and to reconnect with my Creative Passion, so that I can truly manifest Beauty, Wholeness and Stability.
